The creative process is the best protection against anxiety and fear.

Julia DupinceauOctober 2, 2020

For the summer I went to warmer places and did not keep a note on the web site. Autumn has come, and I am back on the internet. During this time, I have worked successfully and drew many birds and animals on wooden slices. The creative process continues.
My son asked me to make him a keychain made of a small wooden slice. I made him one keychain with a woodpecker. And I had the idea to draw a series of paints on small wooden slices for my Web store. Here is what came out of it:

Over the summer I did a lot of birds and animals painting on a wood slice. The parcels were sent to many countries. One of my handmade artworks went to Australia, I find it amazing!
Here is another interesting and new theme for me. The wonderful photographers’ naturalists began to write and ask to draw on a wooden slice a copy of their photo work. I drew an eagle, a puffin, and a bear for them. The photographers were pleased, as it seemed to me.

Maybe I should try to draw pets with photos that make their owners? The creative process is always an experiment. New ideas give a way out of creative energy and allow to overcome a psychological problem.
During the quarantine of Coronavirus, I have heard and read about a lot of cases of real tragedies that happen to people who have no realization at home. People whose creativity is not developed or hidden suffer in isolation much more.
Creative people who can express themselves in the creative process do not have such problems.
All that period I was in the idea of cutting and grinding wooden slices, painting animals and birds.
My time in quarantine passed without much anxiety and excitement. I advise you to develop your creative talents, and it have EVERYBODY. Then you can give way to the accumulated energy mixed with the fears and irritation of The Coronavirus, which attacked our planet in 2020.
Please draw, sculpt from clay, neck, cut and be calm and happy!
