30.01.2020 - Windy lake Balaton.

Julia DupinceauJanuary 30, 2020

Today I mailed a wooden slice to Japan in the mail to the buyer. For me, Japan is exotic. I think of this far and mysterious country all day. Tomorrow I'll draw something Japanese.

Next to the postal office where I was sending a parcel with acrylic painting on a wooden slice "Sable" is the embankment of lake Balaton. I decided to look at the lake, at the big water, taking the opportunity. The north wind blew and drove the waves ashore. I fed hungry seagulls and wild ducks with crusts of bread i took with me. The swans were hiding in reeds today from strong waves, probably. I didn't see them today, unfortunately.

I sat and looked into the distance - where the water converges with the sky, it's a wonderful session of landscape therapy. Usually, when I look at the landscapes that surround me, I have new ideas and projects, begin the creative design process. So tomorrow I'll draw a few wooden slices. Animal and bird painting is my hobby and my life. And nature gives me ideas and strength for the creative process.
